Loft Floor Joists - Building My Log Home Pt. 15
The loft is held up by these big log joists that I will be setting into the house! These log beams are beautiful and I set them so their beauty will be observed for years as a centerpiece of this big log home. There were many challenges in this video and difficulty working at these heights without the machinery to properly lift the logs. After many hard days of work the result definitely made it all worth it!

Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of UA-cam friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
Thank you for watching

In the next video I will be working on the log floor joists for this house and ...
The End is Near and Spring is Here - Building My Log Home Pt. 13

Spring is here and I am pushing to get the last logs on the walls, but the height and complexity of the build is making it more challenging. There are not many logs left to go on the walls but I expect some of them to be very difficult. Some are so big that my tractor is not going to be able to lift them, and others need to be placed where my tractor can not reach as you will see in the video. ...

This truck was a good deal, but I have work to do to fix it up. Hopefully we end up with a pretty nice truck because we are going to fix every little problem it has mechanically and its already in very nice physical shape. Its getting hard to find these trucks and they are getting very expensive so hopefully we are able to get into one for less after I put all the work in! Traplines and Inlines...
